Frequently asked questions

Why use 48 working weeks instead of 52?
The default subtracts roughly 4 weeks for annual leave and public holidays — a reasonable estimate for many jobs, but adjust it to match your actual paid time off.

Does this account for overtime pay?
No — it assumes a flat hourly rate for all hours worked. Use the Overtime pay calculator separately if some of your hours are paid at a premium rate.
